Last Showcase of the Year

I feel like softball has taken my family around the world in twenty one days.  We just finished up the last of three weekends on the road to college showcases.  Adelaide did very well in all of them.  She did have her ups and downs, but we all do.  These are a few photos for this past weekend in McDonough, Ga.  These were all taken with the new iPhone 8plus and processed with a new app. I found called Snapseed.  This app. has so much you can do it reminds me of Photoshop in that I don't think I will ever use all of the features.

Shelby's MiMi Tattoo

As you all know, my wife has many tattoos.  She had a few when I met her and in the twenty years that we have been married she has had much more work done.  One of the latest tattoos that she had done at Underground Ink really brightens my day.  Shelby's Grandmother (MiMi) meant the world to me and everyone around her.  She was one of the funniest ladies I ever met.  I was not one of her own grandchildren but that never stopped her from calling me every day just to talk.  I don't know if I have ever laughed as hard as I did when I was on the phone with her.  She and I had a lot of adult conversations.  The only one in my life that gets me laughing as hard as she did is my youngest daughter Adelaide.  I guess because we all have the same sick sense of humor.  To put it simply MiMi meant the world to me personally.  I have all of the handmade cards she ever sent me, and every one is signed the same as the tattoo on Shelby's arm.

Harlie at the Beach

I just got back home from a great beach vacation.  While at the beach I had a chance to photograph one of my favorite models.  Although this time it was a little different.  This time this model is carrying my granddaughter.  I am so proud for Harlie and Kirby.  Here are few shots from our beach session.

Softball Tournament

Ok Habersham County. Here is your chance to come out and see your hometown North Georgia Bandits 10U Fastpitch Softball team play a Tournament. We will be in Anderson SC. at the Electric City Shootout this Saturday June the 5th. These girls would love to have some support with big cheers from anyone that can come.

Adelaide's First Fish

This post should be titled Face Book has taken over my life. I know that I have been so bad about not posting things here. I will try to change that sometime in the next week or so. For now I thought I would let you see Adelaide's first fish. We went fishing on Monday and she seemed to really take to it. I know I had a blast but that's just me being a dad. I don't really remember my first fish but I don't think it was this big. She must really be living right. haha. You have to know Adelaide to know that she is one of those that lives life to the fullest no matter where she is at in life.

Snow Day March 2010

I know it is hard to think about snow in the south at this time of year. I think the weather men are in shock too. Anyway it turned out to be a day to play. Here are some photos of the girls out in almost four and a half inches of snow. I know you are thinking Tom has a wife and two girls. Well I do but my oldest would not come outside. Something about she had not had a shower that day and her hair and makeup people couldn't come to the house because of the snow. Maybe next time.

Harlie is Driving

Well this is the day. The day I HAVE NOT been looking forward to. Harlie past her driving test she is now legal to drive. How could the Great State of Georgia do this to me? All I ask of you that look at this blog is PLEASE PRAY for ME!!! The clock is always ticking but sometimes it seems to be ticking to fast. Our kids grow up to fast so enjoy every little bit of time that you have with them and live like tomorrow will never be.

Back from Las Vegas

Well I am back. We flew in last night into Atlanta. I wanted to do a post to say I am back and yes I did see Elvis. Here is the proof. I have a lot more images to post from the wedding. I hope to get them up ASAP. I will also have some photos up on FaceBook as soon as I can.

Adelaide's Birthday Bash

Ok, it wasn't really a birthday bash but she did get gifts. You can tell by looking at the photos where we ate. So I thought would post a few so everybody can share in the fun. So one last Happy Birthday before I am off to bed.

Adelaide's Birthday

Well, I know you hear it all the time from people but it seems be so true. Time goes by so fast it is really hard to keep up sometimes (I know some of you will just say I am slow) but it is soooo true.

Anyway, I wanted to wish my youngest, my baby girl a big happy 9th Birthday. I would also like to share a few photos from the past year or so just to show you what I have to put up with everyday.

Oh, yea start to pray because the next big birthday is Harlie's 16th. I want even go into Shelby's but that could be a big post also.
