Back from Las Vegas

Well I am back. We flew in last night into Atlanta. I wanted to do a post to say I am back and yes I did see Elvis. Here is the proof. I have a lot more images to post from the wedding. I hope to get them up ASAP. I will also have some photos up on FaceBook as soon as I can.

The Boyd Twins

This is a session from Wednesday morning. These guys are the hansom twins of some very sweet clients that Travis has been photographing for years. I have had the good fortune to meet this family several years ago and was the second shooter for the twins mom and dad's wedding and the their aunt and uncle's wedding. All in all just a joy to have in the studio plus I can always talk to the boys grandfather about Georgia Tech football.

Getting the Gear Together

I thought I would take a shot with my iphone to show some of the things I find myself doing during the day. This is why my back hurts a lot when I get home at night. This is the kind of gear I have to carry around with me for Commercial shoots. Although I do try to use just my Nikon strobes when I can. Today calls for a little more light than can be produced with those.

Whitworth Kids

Travis and I photographed two cute kids this afternoon. We have been photographing the little boy since he was about three months old, but today he brought in his little sister to show off. I wanted to do this post because he is a very proud Georgia Bulldog fan. (Along with his Dad.) So don't judge him by the number on the jersey because it is red and black and the number seven. It is actually Matthew Stafford's number (Who has since gone pro.) not Michael Vick. So any way I couldn't post images of him with out showing off his beautiful baby sister. I know I will hear it from all of my Tech friends. Remember I am still a Georgia Tech fan, but how can you not like this kid.

Heidi

Well, I am back from the crazy world of Christmas. I hope everyone had a great break. The family and I had a great time together except when I went to see my mom. That's just because she can only stand to be around me for so many hours and then she has to take a break. haha! I can't remember but I think she has been that way since my birth.
Ok. I will get down to the real reason for the post. Classes just started back at Brenau University where I do a little part time teaching for the digital photography class. So over the next couple of weeks I thought I would do a little look back at a couple of the ladies that modeled for my class. I always work as low budget as I can so if you model for my class I will always do some shots myself and give you the images. Hey at least the students have nice images for the old face book page. So anyway this is a few shots from the shoot with Heidi. I will also try to put up some more shots soon from some of the other people from last year that I photographed that have really helped me work on portfolio rebuild.
