Breast Cancer Ad

A couple of months ago I had a client call me to book a shoot.  As we began to talk about the people involved and what the ad would be about I knew I was in.  Breast Cancer is something that has affected almost all of us in one way are another.  It may not be someone in your family but if you look around we all know somebody that has or has had it.  My family has been affected by it a couple of times along with my wife's family.  In fact as of last night my wife who is a hair dresser was at a friends house shaving her moms hair off because of the what the treatment does to you.  So I am doing this post to remind the ladies to get to your doctor and get checked out.  The good Lord knows that we can't live without you.  As a man  with a wife and two daughters the threat really hits home.   I would also like to thank Northeast Georgia Medical Center for all that they do to fight breast cancer and for asking me to be apart of this ad campaign. Remember it could strike at anytime.

Habersham vs Rockdale

Habersham came away with a big win Friday night 28 to 6 over Rockdale.  It has been a rough season this year with a lot of ups and downs.  I personally think this is one of the hardest regions to play in, but that's just one mans opinion.  Again I will leave all the stats to Mark Turner at the Northeast Georgian.  He always does a lot more writing on the side lines than I do.  I just thought I would say it has been a great season for me this year.  This is the first year that my family and I have been to every game home and away.  I have gotten to know several of the players this year and that always makes the wins and the loses a little more personal.  So as far as my last post for the 2010 season I will say again congratulations to the Habersham Central Raiders.  Keep making us proud!!!

MarketPlace 2010

This is just a sample of the gala preview party at Marketplace.  What a great thing this is, put on by the Medical Center Auxiliary and Willis Investment.  The silent auction that I photographed last night was great.  One of the great things about it is all of the proceeds from the silent auction will benefit New Horizons North long term care facility.  Marketplace is going to be open at the Gainesville Civic Center this Friday and Saturday.  So get out there and shop away.  Please buy all you can before my wife gets word of this thing happening.

Habersham vs Loganville

Congratulations to the seniors at senior night on Friday.  You have come a long way and make us all very proud.  Win or lose always do your best and never lay down and quit.  You have all played a tough schedule and people can be armchair Quarterback all they want.  However they are not the ones on the field like the players and coaches are week in and week out.  This is a tough region and they all play a take no prisoners type of football.  Well I will know step off my soapbox and be quiet for now.  Hope you enjoy the photos.

Habersham vs Heritage

Just a shout out the those hard fighting Raiders.  Heritage may have won the game but these Raiders made it very very hard for them.  I have been photographing Raider Football for years now and having a good time doing it.  However this game was one of those that I felt like they played with a lot of heart.  They really started to gel and fought for everything they got because it was not giving to them.

Great Job Players and Coaches,

Anna & Stuart in Las Vegas

Let me begin by saying thanks to both families for having Travis and myself out to Las Vegas to be apart of this amazing wedding. It was a beautiful afternoon with beautiful people kind of day. The wedding was at Mandalay Bay Resort where everything seems to be done right. Anyway just wanted to give you a little look at how some of the day went. I don't know if the photographs even do it justice I really think you would have had to be in the moment.
