I have been wanting to do this post for a while now, but I had to wait until The Longstreet Clinic released all four ads. I didn't want to give out any spoilers. This was a very fun shoot that I did with Forum Communications in Gainesville, Ga. Getting doctors to try to do the twist was crazy enough, but the one for jump was the best. After having Dr. Borrow jump about thirty times we got what we needed. Again thanks to Kathryn for coming up with the idea, Erin and Katie for selling the idea and the rest of the forum group for trusting me and giving me the freedom to produce the images that you see in ads today.

Last Showcase of the Year
I feel like softball has taken my family around the world in twenty one days. We just finished up the last of three weekends on the road to college showcases. Adelaide did very well in all of them. She did have her ups and downs, but we all do. These are a few photos for this past weekend in McDonough, Ga. These were all taken with the new iPhone 8plus and processed with a new app. I found called Snapseed. This app. has so much you can do it reminds me of Photoshop in that I don't think I will ever use all of the features.

Shelby's MiMi Tattoo
As you all know, my wife has many tattoos. She had a few when I met her and in the twenty years that we have been married she has had much more work done. One of the latest tattoos that she had done at Underground Ink really brightens my day. Shelby's Grandmother (MiMi) meant the world to me and everyone around her. She was one of the funniest ladies I ever met. I was not one of her own grandchildren but that never stopped her from calling me every day just to talk. I don't know if I have ever laughed as hard as I did when I was on the phone with her. She and I had a lot of adult conversations. The only one in my life that gets me laughing as hard as she did is my youngest daughter Adelaide. I guess because we all have the same sick sense of humor. To put it simply MiMi meant the world to me personally. I have all of the handmade cards she ever sent me, and every one is signed the same as the tattoo on Shelby's arm.

Habersham Football Final Game
WOW!!! A win is always a great way to end the season. This seemed to be a long time coming after the win at East Hall earlier in the year. I have photographed a lot of high school football over the last twenty five or so years, and don't know if I have ever seen a season like this. This team was so close in every game that it hurt me to watch them lose. I know that I am not a sports writer, but I think even I can say these guys could have ended the season with maybe one or two losses. Well I have typed enough for the morning. Congratulations to the entire team for going out with a win. I hope you enjoy a few images from the Apalachee game Friday night.

Casting for Recovery
What a great weekend! I had the opportunity to shoot for Casting for Recovery Georgia at Smithgall Woods. Although it rained through most of the morning the ladies still wanted to fish. I guess after going through breast cancer a little rain won't hurt. Check out the Casting for Recovery website for more info on what they do. You, like I will be amazed at what these ladies are doing. Thanks to Jake Darling and Jimmy Harris of Unicoi Outfitters in Helen, Ga. for all they do for CfR. I was honored when Jake came to me about covering the day of fishing. Hope to see them all on the river again someday.
