Students Mid-Term Work

I know I have never posted anything but my own work. That being said. I think it is time to change all of that. As many of you already know that besides being a full time photographer, husband and dad. I also teach photography part time at Brenau University. This has been a great experience for me over the past few years. I have met some of the best people through this job. These ladies really mean business. I have probably learned more from them than they have from me ( I hope nobody at the school reads my blog ). Let's just say I try to teach to the best of my ability for what that's worth. Anyway I was so proud of the ladies in my photography class for the first half of the semester. I wanted to share the work that was turned in after only about eight weeks of class. Remember some of these ladies have never had any instruction on photography as far as how light works in an image and how to draw the viewer into the image. Also, do keep in mind that most of the students only have point and shoot cameras. This is just an example of how photography is more about what is in your head and not the type of camera in your hands. Remember the camera is only a tool.
