Habersham Central Lady Raiders take Madison Co. 3-2 in Softball. I am so very proud of you ladies. That was a very hard fought game and got a little tight at the end. I hope everyone gets a chance to come out and support these great ladies Sept. 20th 2011 for Senior night. It would be great to see the stands packed with standing room only to make as much noise as possible for your home town team.
Congratulations to Kevin Ellison, The Gainesville Times Player of the week. Ellison had 23 carries for 125 yards and four touchdowns. The cool thing about this night is he completed 8 of 12 in passing for 146 yards and one of those was in the final minute of the game for a touchdown to Zack Franks.
Hey Radiers, Way to keep the fans in the stands. This was one of the best comebacks I have seen in a while. Like I said last year I will leave all the stats to Mark Turner at the Northeast Georgian.
